Tangible Theater
Theater, as an integrative art form, has historically embraced multidisciplinary approaches to engage its audience. This project focuses on traditional theater and new interactive digital technologies to propose a new configuration emphasising tangible experiences grounded in materiality and physicality. Through an iterative process, tangible artefacts inspired by the narrative of “Macbeth” has been created, inviting participants to interact and assume the role of a performer, thus becoming their own spectacle.

Process
Drawing inspiration from elements of forum theater, set design, and Shakespeare's "Macbeth," I integrated them into the concept of interaction design, theater design, and non-linear narratives. The aim was to construct a tangible theater experience that not only incorporated physical artefacts but also served as a versatile guide for other creatives.
Through the creation of a diverse collection of artefacts, the project effectively conveys specific narratives from material and physical perspectives, evoking emotions within participants through immersive, multisensory environments. This approach enhances the sense of flow and allows participants to experience the story as protagonists, thus becoming their own spectacle.
